I have mentioned the Khan Academy before on this blog, but here it is again because of its growing potential to wrest control from the hands of status-quo educators. This video features Bill Gates explaining the new capabilities of the Khan Academy site (including intelligent practice exercises and mentoring), along with the potential social return. At 24 minutes, the video is on the long side, but well worth viewing nevertheless.
