This mum deserves a gold medal for her dedication and perseverance in ensuring her kids get a decent education.  Unfortunately her story isn’t unique, and as all of us have experienced, unless parents are prepared to fight an uphill battle for their kid(s) who might need a little extra support, it’s very easy for these same kids to fall through the cracks, and that is criminal, in my opinion.

School choice only makes the competition that much better, and it holds the system accountable.  Nothing wrong with that.
