Sunday at the Movies (Follow-Up to Teacher Bully Story)

April 29, 2012 by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) at 05:25 AM

You may recall a posting a week or two ago about how a parent bugged his son's wheelchair and discovered the cruel treatment that his disabled son was receiving - along with the difficulty the father was experiencing in getting the school board to respond appropriately. The story went viral on YouTube, and here's a follow-up video that speaks to school boards' unwillingness or inability to fire bad educators. YouTube link. H/T MW

The postscript to this was that the instigator heard on the full YouTube feed was actually fired while the other two staff members were reassigned. A little too late, it seems, for the child who now has escalated to violent tendencies when provoked. Hoping that any debriefing is successful for this student.

School environments are not healthy for children nowadays:  they don’t teach children to read, spell nor write; they don’t teach them to do math; and by not responding to bullying by fellow students and/or staff, educrats don’t look after the physical and emotional well-being of children either.  Parents should be extremely weary of sending their little ones to public schools, and if there’s any sign of trouble they get them out and homeschool if there are no private ones they can afford.  Unfortunately many parents don’t have the luxury of withdrawing their children from bad schools.
