In a thousand words or less….....

January 30, 2013 by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) at 06:20 AM

I WOULD LIKE EVERY CHILD TO BE ABLE TO GO TO A SCHOOL THAT LETS HIM OR HER REALIZE HIS OR HER DREAMS.

This is what I wrote at the Up-Goer Five Text Editor, a gimmick that limits you to the most common thousand words and thus forces you to streamline your thoughts. I encourage you to try to encapsulate your thoughts on education using the editor, and then paste the results into our comments section.

I would be very interested to learn what our readers want out of education. H/T Chas

I would like to see all children reach their true self in school without tears and screams,  to realized their dreams and possible road ways of life yet to come.  However, it can’t be done if schools keeps locking the doors of learning in the present, to block the road ways of life yet to come.

Almost every child can learn to read if we are willing to help them, but sometimes it’s not easy.

Sometimes these kids are hard to work with, they come from broken homes and arrive at school without eating a good breakfast. They don’t fit with our idea of what a school should be and do, and they need one on one attention which takes money.

But if we spend the money now, it will pay us back several times as we help the child grow up to be a better person.
