Educate yourself about good health

So, it's the last day of 2013, and time to make your resolutions for the new year. Ever helpful, we are providing a link to a life expectancy calculator, which will guide you in the right direction (away from smoking and excessive drinking and towards exercise, good nutrition and stress reduction). Why not do the calculations and then post your life expectancy calculator to our comments section? I'll go first. 88

I got to age 89, despite a love of beer and preferring more “pasta-fazoo” than potatoes! (
is that OK?)
Happy New Year everyone!

I got 84.

Increase the veggie servings - I can increase it. But I take my chances with women on my mother’s side and men on my father’s side, living to old ages beyond the 90s. As long as I don’t packed the pounds on, and keep walking instead of driving.

You people are old. I am only 63. I work out heavily 3-4 X a week and eat pretty well so I end up looking like a young guy with an old guy"s head.

89.  hmmm.  Do we need to live so long?  What about our carbon footprint?
Happy New Year to all.

Joe, you read the way Doug used to (hmmm), and therefore miss the point… grin
btw, ‘Joe’, under another alias, you had said that you wrote the former grade 13 Ontario Departmentals.  How many grades did you skip to do that??  They were last administered in ‘66.

I may be 88, but I am pretty spry and, with my walker, I can get around. Of course, I’m getting quite deaf, but my bespectacled eyesight does make it possible for me to read all the words and understand their meaning.
